The wikifier script scans the content of the post and extracts words and nounphrases. These are then compared to a local database of wikipedia titles. If an entry is found the word will appear in the select box. Clikking on it will take you to the wikipedia article. The thousand most common words of the English language are discarded.

min:

• only database of en.wikipedia.org. Other languages will still match on this database. Should have some language recognition function in it.
• the script is very simple now. A lot more tweaking is needed to get out good phrases - which might have an article in wikipedia.
